Ethics Policy/Whistleblower Appeals

Ethics Policy

The Ethics Policy provides the PRC with the authority to hear County employee appeals from disciplinary or retaliatory actions taken against employees of the County, as a result of the employee's whistleblower report made pursuant to the Ethics Policy. See Chapter 406 and Section 407.02 of the County Code and the PRC’s Administrative Rules for details.

In addition, the PRC, with the cooperation of the Department of Human Resources and the Inspector General, is responsible for ensuring county-wide compliance with the Ethic’s Policy. See Compliance Reports page for additional information.


Whistleblower Appeals
